Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 3, 2026
The Hair Roundup respects your privacy. This page explains what limited data we and our partners collect when you visit, and what we do with it. We keep this deliberately small: the site is an editorial publication, not an account-based service.
What we do not collect
We do not ask for or store your email address, we do not run newsletters or accounts, and we do not sell personal data. There is no sign-up on this site.
Analytics
We may use a privacy-conscious web analytics tool (Google Analytics 4) to understand which pages are read and how visitors arrive, in aggregate. This can set analytics cookies and process information such as your approximate location, device and browser type, and the pages you view. We use this only to improve our content, never to identify you personally. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings.
Affiliate links and cookies
Many of our recommendations link to retailers such as Amazon, or directly to a product's brand store, through affiliate links. When you click one, the retailer may set its own cookie so that any resulting purchase is attributed to us and we earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. Those cookies are governed by the retailer's own privacy policy, not ours. See our affiliate disclosure for how this works.
Third-party services
Pages may load resources (such as analytics scripts or images) from third parties. These providers operate under their own privacy policies. We do not control, and are not responsible for, the data practices of external sites we link to.
Your choices
- You can block or clear cookies through your browser settings at any time.
- You can use your browser's "Do Not Track" setting or an ad/analytics blocker; the site will continue to work.
- Because we do not collect email addresses or accounts, there is no profile for us to delete, but you are welcome to contact us with any privacy question.
Children
This site is intended for adults making hair-care purchasing decisions. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If our data practices change (for example, if we add email capture in a later phase), we will update this page and revise the "last updated" date above.
